]]>Aranas National Wildlife Refuge is the wintering home of the very rare and endangered Whooping Crane. Visiting this area to experience these amazing birds in person is a must do while you're in South Texas during the winter. There is also a wide variety of other birdlife wintering at Aranas NWR.

]]>This photo tour explores the arctic tundra and Boreal Forest of northern Manitoba and is scheduled during the supposed off-season. But nobody told the wildlife that lives here. There may not be as many bears in the area during this time of year, but they are here, and the habitat is still mostly green with bits and pieces of the landscape beginning to display autumn color. This trip is scheduled to enjoy other wildlife that lives here during the off-season. Such as Beluga Whale, Caribou, River Otters, Mink, Moose, Tundra Swans and Loons to name a few species that we very well may see. There is also a very good chance to see the Aurora Borealis during this tour.

]]>A portfolio of photographs made during Trogon Tours annual springtime Eagles & Orca's photography workshops around the Salish Sea & Hood Canal of Washington State. The Hood Canal is a unique area where many Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, gulls and crows congregate to feast on Mid-shipmen fish that spawn near the inlets. We also spend quality time around the Salish Sea searching for the local Orca Whales. While not in the sea on a private boat, we are photographing the local birdlife and Red Foxes that often den in the area.
